Dr Chris Tomsett is a provisional fellow in pain medicine with the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He is also a qualified GP and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Tomsett completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2010 and subsequently completed his general practice fellowship in 2018.
Recently, he has completed specialist training in pain medicine in Brisbane at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Gold Coast at the Gold Coast Interdisciplinary Persistent Pain Centre (IPPC).
Prior to medicine, he was an accredited exercise physiologist with ESSA. He also lived in Japan for several years working on the JET programme as an ALT and studying Japanese.
